Gardens

Outdoor paintings are frequent in Manuel Amado's artwork since the beginning of his career as a painter.
He regularly returned to the representation of architecture, trees, landscapes, gardens and to his childhood house and garden the Pimenta Pace at Campo Grande, Lisbon. He explored vastly the representation of buildings and their details and corners, but also of vegetation, a discreet but permanent presence in his work.
